Michael Luvanda

Michael Luvanda is a seasoned development and public health professional with over 10 years of experience leading the design and implementation of transformative health and community development programs across Tanzania. He currently serves as the Executive Director of BRIGHT Tanzania, a national NGO committed to gender justice, youth empowerment, and community resilience.
Michael holds a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) and a Master of Humanitarian Action, Cooperation and Development (MHACD). He is also a graduate in Project Planning, Management, and Community Development. His expertise spans HIV and AIDS prevention, adolescent health, social behavior change, emergency response, and strategic program management.
